On December 19, 2024, in VSMU there was held an open Christmas tournament on kettlebell lifting.

On December 20, 2024, a team of the 2nd and 3rd year students of the Faculty of Medicine of VSMU took part in the III International online Olympiad "PRIVATE HISTOLOGY", organized by the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Voronezh State Medical University named after N.N. Burdenko" of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Yaroslavl State Medical University" of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the educational and methodological commission on morphological disciplines in the enlarged group of specialties 31.00.00 "Clinical Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Russia".

On December 20, 2024, Vitebsk State Medical University hosted the Christmas Volleyball Tournament among healthcare institutions of the Vitebsk Region for the prizes of the Rector of VSMU.

On December 20, 2024, a ceremonial event was held at Vitebsk State Medical University - a meeting-open dialogue of the administration and trade union activists with young specialists of the university "Youth is the main resource for the development and future of VSMU" chaired by the Rector Alexey Chukanov.
