On November 23, 2023, as part of the Unified Information Day, a dialogue platform was held at Vitebsk State Medical University with the participation of a member of the Republican Information and Propaganda Group, the head of ONT (“Second National TV Channel”) Marat Markov. The rector of VSMU Alexey Chukanov, the university administration, the teaching staff, and students took part in the dialogue platform.

On November 23, 2023, at VSMU, as part of the Unified Road Safety Day, a meeting was held between the 1st year students of the Faculty of Medicine and the state traffic inspector of the technical supervision and prevention department of the SAI of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee - Maria Izofatova on the topic “The prevention of road accidents in winter. Reflective elements."

The meeting was opened by the IN MODO team, playing the compositions “STAY'IN ALIVE”, “SUNNY” and “UMBRELLA”. Next the audience greeted the musical group that had recently formed; its members were first-year students. This premiere performance for them with the composition “Flowers” ​​was greeted very warmly by the audience.

On November 23, 2023, the grand opening of the Republican Student Olympiad in Surgery with international participation took place at VSMU. The rector of the university, Alexey Chukanov, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. Within of 2 days the teams from BSMU (Minsk), VSMU, GSMU (Gomel), GrSMU (Grodno), RNRMU (Moscow), SSMU (Smolensk), Siberian State Medical University (Tomsk) will compete in various surgical specialties.

On November 21, 2023, in hostel No. 5, a meeting-dialogue between VSMU students and the head of the Diaconal Center of the Vitebsk Diocese, Inna Kostyukovich, took place on the topic “Professional choice: about the vocation of a doctor.” The speech by the head of the Diaconal Center was dedicated to the famous surgeon and scientist, St. Luke Voino-Yasenetsky, saint, doctor Evgeniy Sergeevich Botkin.
