On April 23-24, 2024, the educational forum “Woman Leader Changes the World” is taking place. This is a joint project of the primary organizations "Belarusian Women's Union" of VSMU and VSU named after. P.M. Masherov, and it will be held at two sites: April 23 on the territory of VSMU, April 24 on the territory of VSU named after. P.M. Masherova.

On April 23, 2024, the opening of the 29th International Medical Forum “Healthcare of Belarus-2024” took place in Minsk, in which the delegation of VSMU led by the Rector of the University Alexei Chukanov took part.

As part of the forum, the country's largest exhibition in the field of medicine and healthcare is taking place, where Vitebsk State Medical University presents its educational services and innovative developments at the Educational Alley.

On April 20, 2024, the primary trade union organizations of employees and students of Vitebsk State Medical University organized a tourist and excursion trip “Orthodox Rus'”. The VSMU staff and students went on an interesting journey through the Pskov lands, where they visited the main historical and architectural ensemble, the “Pskov Pompeii”, the main defensive sites and spiritual treasuries.

As part of the environmental initiative “Green Treasures of Belarus”. On April 20, 2024, a joint environmental cleanup was held in the botanical garden of VSMU. It brought together 25 employees of Belarusbank and the staff of the botanical garden. Landscaping work has been completed.

On April 20, 2024, the “Hyper Hoop All Star” basketball competition was held among the men's and women's teams of the Sri Lankan community in the large gymnasium of VSMU.

Students from VSMU and GrSMU took part in the tournament as part of 4 national teams. The teams were named after the regional centers of the Republic of Belarus.

As a result of exciting matches, the men's team "Mogilev Navi" and the women's team "Vitebsk Vipers" won.
